 PLATFORM: JUDICIARY / CONSTITUTIONAL LAW

PLATFORM HOME >> JUDICIARY / CONSTITUTIONAL LAW

• Judicial activism is destroying the existing boundaries between legislative and legal jurisdiction.

• The word "Unconstitutional" has been used far to often by Federal judges to circumvent legislative jurisdiction, due process, judicial boundaries, and state or local laws. Amendment initiatives and due process must be the means to constitutional change, not "Unconstitutional" edicts from judicial activists or orders from the Executive Branch. This approach must equally apply to our social and economic infrastructure to preserve democratic process.

• Constitution meant to limit government, not as a mode of expansion.
